Dark and Stormy

Recently I seem to have developed a bit of an obsession for dark camo-esque combinations. It might be something to do with the freezing weather in Melbourne at the moment and the fact that I am thoroughly over Winter and it's overshadowing my tastes, or it could just be that I really love my new J Crew cashmere sweater in navy and I'll find any excuse to wear it.

Whatever the reason, as the clouds rolled in last Saturday I was drawn to this navy and khaki combo; a humble nod to the slightly military inspired look I seem to be lusting over at the moment.

I also finally got the chance to wear my new Zara bling that I picked up when I was back in the UK in June. It's been sitting in my drawer waiting for just such an occasion where it could be used to its full potential to brighten up a dreary day (don't let the glimmer of sun fool you).

Here's some other inspiration on how to bring camouflage into your look, without looking like an extra out of GI Jane.
